Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer with a background in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering to join our team at Short Circuit Company, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting fixtures. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production sequence and ensuring product quality at each stage of the manufacturing process, from raw materials to final products.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications.
Production Oversight: Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Material Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and components to verify quality before production begins.
Testing & Analysis: Perform testing and analysis of finished products to identify defects and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspections, and test results, ensuring traceability and compliance with company policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
Training: Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience in quality control or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Certification: Relevant quality control certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, quality control methodologies, and testing procedures.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
